There seem to be apps for everything these days and now, in what it claims is a ground-breaking move, French banking group BNP Paribas has launched an app for clients in the structured products market.

BNP Paribas Wealth Management announced yesterday it has launched the Structured Products Selector. It is described as a “pedagogical application and website” to improve knowledge on structured products for private investors.

The bank said the “one-of-a-kind solution has no equivalent on the market”.

The Structured Products Selector is a website and an app for tablets (iPad and Android) that features a catalogue of structured product categories, details on each product type, educational information on structured products and a multi-criteria search.

“It has been designed to improve awareness and knowledge on structured products for private investors, using existing product brochures and materials. It showcases structured products in an interesting and exciting new channel and is in line with the mobile and digital revolution,” the bank said.
