BNP Paribas Private Bank appointed Laurent Monet as head of its Products and Markets department as of this month. He will be responsible for directing the teams providing both investment advice and developing products and services to meet the needs of clients. Mr Monet was formerly director for Products and Markets at BNP Paribas Assurance. He joined the French bank when it acquired insurer Cardif in 2001.
