BNP Paribas Confirms New Swiss Wealth Management CEO

The new CEO, who has been acting as interim CEO since June, is replacing Beat Bachmann.
BNP Paribas has appointed Yusuf Savmaz (pictured) as the new CEO Wealth Management Switzerland, effective 15 October 2025. He has been acting as interim CEO Wealth Management Switzerland since 1 June 2025, based in Zurich.
Savmaz has also become a permanent member of the BNP Paribas, Paris, Zurich Branch Executive Committee, the bank said in a statement. He has replaced Beat Bachmann, who stepped down in May 2025 to become CEO of BNP Wealth Management Germany.
Savmaz has 24 years of experience in the wealth management industry, serving ultra-high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and executives for the last 10 years. He has been responsible for the Swiss Domestic Market at BNP Paribas since 1 August 2022, and a member of the executive committee of Wealth Management Switzerland.
He was formerly with Credit Suisse as a managing director in charge of the entrepreneurs and executives segment in the Zurich region, the bank continued. Savmaz, who holds a master of arts in business administration from the University of Zurich, is a Swiss certified tax expert and a certified international wealth manager.
