BNP Paribas AM Names New CIOs

The firm said that these appointments will allow it to "better position" its global platform for the future, enhance its client focus and accelerate innovation.
Paris-headquartered BNP Paribas Asset Management (BNPP AM) has appointed four chief investment officers, effective 1 September 2026. All CIOs report to Rob Gambi, global head of investments of BNP Paribas Asset Management.
“These appointments represent a significant milestone,” Gambi said. “We are implementing an organisation designed to unlock the scale and breadth of BNPP AM’s fund management and solutions capabilities across the entire risk and client spectrum. These appointments allow us to better position our global platform for the future, enhance our client focus and accelerate innovation.”
The appointments include Guy Davies, deputy global head of investments, chief investment officer and global head of fundamental active equity. He joined BNPP AM in 2008. Previously, he was a founding partner and co-chief executive at MM Asset Management. He began his career at Mercer Investment Consulting.
Olivier de Larouzière, chief investment officer and global head of fixed income, joined BNPP AM in 2019. His previous roles include co-CIO of fixed income at Ostrum Asset Management (rebranded as Natixis Asset Management), and several positions as portfolio manager at Crédit Lyonnais Asset Management and Ecureuil Gestion (Caisse d’Epargne).
Laurent Clavel, chief investment officer and global head of multi-asset, joined BNPP AM after the acquisition of AXA IM in 2025. He held several positions at AXA IM including global head of multi-asset and, before that, he was head of the Quant Lab and head of macroeconomic research.
Finally, Robinson Rouchié was appointed as chief investment officer and global head of systematic and quantitative investments. He joined BNPP AM in 2020 as chief of staff to the chief investment officer. Prior to this, he held various positions in several divisions of the BNP Paribas Group including the investment banking division, wealth management and CIB, where he was chief of staff to CIB Americas’ CEO, leading and executing strategic projects across the region (US, Canada, and LatAm).
