BMO Harris Private Banking has hired Janine Guenther as vice president and managing director for British Columbia. She replaces Diana Reid who was named national managing director and head of the bank's new private wealth group launched last year to target ultra high net worth investors.

The private wealth group targets families with at least C$10 million in investable assets or C$25 million in net worth.

Before joining BMO, Guenther was regional head of the TD Waterhouse discretionary money management business for British Columbia.
