BMO Harris Confirms Merger Plan For High Net Worth Business
BMO Harris Investment Management is proposing a change to its
high net worth offering, effective 24 September this year.
The BMO Harris Growth Opportunities Portfolio will soon be merged
into the BMO Harris Canadian Growth Equity Portfolio, as part of
a strategy to refine operations. The company will seek regulatory
approval for the proposed merger, which will also likely require
investors' go signal.
A meeting is scheduled for around 23 September to finalize
plans.
BHIMI provides investment management services to high net worth
individuals and families. Holders of units of the BMO Harris
Growth Opportunities Portfolio will receive units of the BMO
Harris Canadian Growth Equity Portfolio upon completion of the
merger.
