Bellecapital Ramps Up European, UK Operations

A number of senior figures in the banking and wealth management space have joined the firm, which has offices in Zurich and London. Bellecapital was established in Switzerland in 2009.
A former director of Deutsche Bank Wealth Management has been appointed to drive the UK business of the Anglo-Swiss firm Bellecapital. His move is one of several hires by the business in Europe.
Bellecapital has hired Corin George, who was a director at
Deutsche Bank Wealth Management from 2012 to June 2020.
George started his career at Deloitte before spending 11 years
with Coutts & Co where he worked in its tax planning and
structuring team before joining its professionals’ client group
as a private banker.

experience as an investment professional make him the ideal
leader for this new phase in our growth strategy,” Mark Eberle,
founding partner, said.
As part of its build-out, Bellecapital has hired a number of
other personnel:
Paola Matulli, joins as an executive director in the Zürich
office focusing on European clients. Matulli was a director at
Barclays Private Bank in London where she advised and managed
UHNW European individuals, families and familiy offices. She was
previously at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, London and JP
Morgan Geneva.
Itay Halperin has joined as a senior investment manager from
Credit Suisse where he covered the Israeli market as part of the
Emerging Europe division. He is based in London and focuses on
Israeli UHNW clients. Prior to Credit Suisse, Halperin held
senior positions at Compagnie Bancaire Helvetique and Citibank in
Tel Aviv.
With offices in Zurich and London, Bellecapital was launched in
Switzerland in 2009 by a number of HSBC and Barclays senior
executives. It has $3.1 billion in assets under management as of
the end of December 2019.
