Bedrock Establishes Advisory Board, Strengthens Brazilian Focus

Bedrock, the London-headquartered private investment office, has established an advisory board, appointing Henrique de Campos Meirelles - former president of the Central Bank of Brazil - to chair it.
The board has been established to consult on macroeconomic issues, as well as business strategy for the firm; de Campos Meirelles’ appointment is aimed at helping Bedrock strengthen its expertise in emerging markets and Brazil in particular. He will be working closely with Felipe de Almeida, Bedrock senior vice president and partner who leads the Brazilian activities of the firm from Geneva.
The advisory board’s other initial member is existing Bedrock advisor Jeff Keil, former vice chairman and member of the executive board of Republic National Bank of New York. Other members will be appointed in due course, Bedrock said in a statement.
In addition to London and Geneva, Bedrock also has a Monaco office, which opened in October of last year. With 60 employees across its offices, it was founded in 2004 by four partners.
