Barclays Wealth Hires Three For SSG Global Strategy

Barclays Wealth, the wealth management division of the UK's Barclays Bank, has appointed a director, managing director and a vice president to strengthen its strategic solutions group.
Amaury Hendrickx joins as a director from US wealth advisor Merrill Lynch Global Private Equity, where he was director of global private equity. He has also worked at Germany's Deutsche Bank and Dutch investment manager Alpinvest Partners.
Hendrickx, based in London, will focus on the SSG’s investment club proposition, which provides clients with access to specialist funds and investment opportunities.
Jad Fadl joins as vice president of SSG, after seven years in corporate banking at US firm Citi. He will report to Solomon Soquar. Soquar joined Barclays Wealth as head of SSG in February this year.
As solutions specialist, he will provide product knowledge and act as the interface between corporate professionals and Barclays Wealth bankers and clients.
The firm also appointed Miray Katerji as managing director of SSG (Middle East North Africa), based in Dubai. Katerji joins from HSBC Global Banking & Markets, where she specialised in wealth management and investment banking. She will be working alongside MENA bankers in her new role.
