Barclays Wealth, part of UK banking group Barclays, has appointed Patrick Margrave as a relationship manager in an expansion of its Isle of Man-based intermediaries team, which is now nearly 50-strong.

Mr Margrave joins Barclays Wealth from RBS, where he was most recently intermediaries relationship manager. In his new role he will be reporting to Paul Swindale, team leader within Barclays Wealth intermediaries.

The company signalled the appointment would be the last to the intermediaries team for the time being, "we are now fully staffed, having hired some outstanding people in recent months," said Mr Swindale in a press statement.
