Barclays Makes Regional Wealth, Investment Hire In US

The UK bank has hired a regional manager at its wealth and investment arm in the US northeast, hiring from Deutsche Bank.

Barclays has brought in industry executive Gary Domoracki as managing director and regional manager at its wealth and investment management office in Boston, Massachusetts.

Domoracki was latterly chief executive of two prominent multi-billion-dollar family offices in Boston, Barclays said in a statement.

Other roles he has held previously include managing director and regional executive at Deutsche Bank - responsible for wealth management in New England - and regional manager at the private bank of Credit Suisse.

At Barclays, Domoracki reports to Michael Burke, managing director and head of the Eastern region.

Barclays Wealth and Investment Management has 12 offices across the US.
