Barclays Creates New Client, Customer Experience Leadership Role

There is a new role of head of client and customer experience at the wealth and investment arm of Barclays.

Barclays Wealth & Investments, part of UK-listed Barclays, has appointed Tim Tate as head of client and customer experience, a new role by the firm.

Tate reports to Dena Brumpton, chief executive of Barclays Wealth & Investments. He is responsible for leading the business’ focus on creating client led solutions and helping to deliver its plans for growth.

With over 21 years in the financial services industry, Tate joins from JP Morgan Private Bank where he was global head of digital wealth management.  In this role he was responsible for designing and executing a digital strategy that integrated all aspects of the wealth management business.

Prior to this, Tate spent 15 years in a variety of roles at Citigroup, including head of client strategy and management across Citi’s global banking businesses in Europe and Asia, head of client management for the private bank, and private bank’s head of digital strategy and innovation.
