Barclays Wealth Management has appointed Jamie Apold as a senior private banker in its International Private Bank division. Mr Apold joins Barclays from JP Morgan Private Bank where he was a wealth advisor. He is a qualified lawyer and has previously worked in tax advisory for accountancy and legal firms including Shepherd and Wedderburn WS and Baker & McKenzie as well as accountants Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu. Mr Apold will report to both Michael Morley, managing director of Barclays International Private Bank and Richard Green, managing director of the UK Private Bank. He commences his new role with immediate effect and will be based in Geneva.
