Bank Of Singapore Names New Global CFO

The Singapore-headquartered private bank, which operates in a number of regions, has appointed one of its senior figures to the role.
Bank of
Singapore, the private banking arm of Oversea-Chinese Banking
Corporation (OCBC), has appointed Collins Chin as global chief
financial officer, with immediate effect. The previous CFO
was Ho Soo Woon, who left the bank in March 2025, according to
his LinkedIn profile. He is now director, Community Foundation Of
Singapore.
Before taking on the role, Chin was OCBC’s head of investor
relations.
As part of the move, Chin will be a member of the bank’s global
management committee, reporting to BoS’s chief executive Jason
Moo.
WealthBriefing has asked Bank of Singapore whether the
global CFO position is a newly formed one or a replacement for a
departing figure, and may update this article in due course.
Chin joined OCBC in July 2009 as the head of group financial and
management reporting. He became head of investor relations in May
2013. Prior to joining OCBC, Chin held regional leadership
positions in Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Chartered Bank
and Barclays Capital across the finance, capital markets and risk
functions. Chin holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy
from Nanyang Technological University and is a chartered
accountant of Australia and New Zealand.
“His appointment is testament to the commitment of OCBC Group to
nurture homegrown talent and provide opportunities for career
progression and mobility across the group,” Moo said.
