Bank of Singapore Adds To Dubai Team

The private bank has added figures from Indosuez and Citibank as part of its Dubai build-out.

Bank of Singapore has hired two relationship managers for its Dubai franchise.

Mahesh Ramakrishnan joined last week from CA Indosuez Wealth Management, reporting to Salman Bajwa, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.

Shikhy Chandhok has joined from Citibank UAE, reporting to Chetan Mehra, market head for the Middle East and Global South Asia.

Ramakrishnan advised high net worth and ultra-HNW clients in the Gulf Cooperation Council region and India at CA Indosuez. He previously worked at Deutsche Bank and Union Bancaire Privée in Dubai. Chandhok advised clients on investment, structured product and financing solutions at Citibank UAE.

The hires follow the appointment of Lim Leong Guan as head of private banking for the Middle East, Global South Asia and International, and chief executive of the bank's Dubai International Financial Centre branch. Dubai is one of Bank of Singapore's three main hubs, alongside Singapore and Hong Kong.
