Andrew Smith has been appointed Bank of Scotland's private banking regional director for central and west Scotland. Mr Smith is based in Glasgow and the private banking operation from a senior role with the bank’s inspection and lending control department, where he was a relationship director. He succeeds Elaine Robson who has been appointed to another position in Bank of Scotland’s private banking operation in London.
