Bank Of Bermuda HSBC Names New Deputy CEO

Bank of Bermuda HSBC has appointed Richard Moseley as its deputy chief executive, a role which carries responsibility for its private banking operations.
Mr Mosely takes up his new role on 4 January 2010, upon which he will also become a member of the bank’s management committee. In his role as deputy CEO he will oversee the bank’s core customer groups and securities services along with developing key client relationships and work with the management committee on strategy.
Mr Moseley is a 30-year veteran of the HSBC group who was most recently a senior executive with the bank’s London-based group management office. His former roles at HSBC also include those of head of payments and cash management; chief operating officer for global transaction banking; general manager for corporate and institutional banking; and general manager for card services. Mr Moseley was also head of group private banking for the UK at Midland Bank.
Bank of Bermuda became a wholly-owned subsidiary of HSBC in 2004.
