Bank of America Global Wealth & Investment Management has restructured its service to high net worth clients in the US by increasing the number of its regional teams from four to eight. Bank of America Global Wealth & Investment Management, one of the three primary divisions of the company, consists of Bank of America Premier Banking and Investments, The Private Bank of Bank of America and its extension, Family Wealth Advisors, which provide product and advisory solutions to affluent, wealthy and ultra high net worth clients respectively. It also includes Columbia Management, the primary investment management arm of the company, and Banc of America Specialist, a specialist firm on the New York Stock Exchange. The Private Bank of Bank of America has over 150 offices across the US and has nearly $164 billion in assets under management as of 30 June 2006.
