Babson Capital Europe Launches New High Yield Fund

UK-based Babson Capital Europe has launched the new Babson Capital Global High Yield Credit Opportunity Fund.
The new fund is an open-ended, multi-credit fund, which aims to provide investors with access to high yielding beta exposures across performing global loan and bond markets, with opportunistic allocations to the resurgent CLO market as well as to stressed/distressed debt. Combining these individual components into a single strategy will address the needs of those investors looking for relative value and dynamic asset allocation within the global high yield credit class, the firm said.
“Both loans and senior secured bonds remain a key component of multi-asset investing, especially in the current environment of persistent low growth and yield. The new fund’s ability to transact across these markets and throughout the capital structure will seek to create value for investors,” said Zak Summerscale, chief investment officer of European high yield at Babson Capital Europe.
Babson Capital Europe currently has €7.3 billion (around $9.5 billion) in assets under management, as at 28 March 2013.
