Florida firm offers "more comprehensive and customized business solutions". Broker-dealer First American Capital and Trading has named ADP Clearing & Outsourcing Services to clear its fully disclosed business in the U.S. and abroad. ADP Clearing is a unit of Roseland, N.J.-based Automatic Data Processing.

"ADP Clearing's broad product suite will help us continue to offer our customers unique solutions to fit their business requirements while keeping our costs under control," says Scott Hudson, COO of Boca Raton, Fla.-based First American. He also figures that ADP's advisor desktop ProVisor, will give First American's investment advisors "the ability to increase productivity and grow revenues."

ProVisor gives investment advisors real-time tax-lot updates, online order entry and real-time market data. With ProVisor, ADP Clearing says those capabilities will help First American expand "its business in the registered investment advisor (RIA) market, particularly in its local Florida market."
