Aviva Overhauls Advisor Website

UK-based insurance and investment management firm Aviva has launched new online secure services on its website for financial advisors in a bid to make their client work quicker and easier.

Among the additions to the site is a new “My Clients” services which gives users a single view of 4 million clients’ bonds, pensions and protection policies, and enhancements to the navigation to Aviva products and clients’ policies. The website also now has a personalised homepage giving advisors access to information about their new business pipeline, saved quotes and new business applications – a feature which Aviva says is the first such in the market.

The changes to the site are the results of 12 months of research among Aviva’s advisors.

“We’ve been building our business around advisors and we’ve totally transformed the secure services section of our site so that we’re giving advisors the online services and information they need,” said Billy Burnside, head of e-business at Aviva.
