Aviva Creates Business Head Role For Asia-Pacific

Aviva Investors, the global asset management business of the UK insurance giant Aviva, has named a business head for Asia-Pacific.

Lim Beng Eu assumes the newly-created role of head of business development, bringing with him over 15 years of experience in developing tailored client solutions in the region. Lim joined the company in 2011 as head of the institutional business development team.

Before Aviva, he was head of the investment management services team at Turner Investments. He also worked for the likes of Prudential Asset Management, DBS Vickers Research, HSBC and Overseas Union Bank.

"Asia-Pacific is a growth region... Our plan remains focused on our core strengths of fixed income, real estate, regional equities and multi-asset strategies," said Lim in a statement.

Aviva Investors operates in 15 countries and records around £274 billion ($414 billion) in assets under management as of 30 September 2012. Its Asia headquarters is located in Singapore.
