Automated Investment Platform Made Available To IFAs

The platform will help IFAs invest and manage their clients' portfolios.

Automated investment platform Fundment is now available to independent financial advisors to help invest and manage client funds in a self-invested personal pension.

The SIPP, which will be administered by the pension provider Liberty SIP, is the latest investment service to be added to the Fundment offering. Fundment will allow advisors to assess their clients’ needs and risk profile, as well as invest and manage their assets through an inbuilt discretionary fund manager, it said in a statement.

The Fundment platform will allows advisors to work more efficiently, and IFAs using the system will be able to advise clients on a SIPP in less than 10 minutes. The Fundment platform also allows them to see their pension pot's valuation and performance all year round.

‘’We are delighted to be able to give IFAs access to a low cost, high quality SIPP as part of the Fundment offering," said Ola Abdul, chief executive and founder of Fundment. "Fundment’s mission is to put more power into the hands of advisors. We listened to what IFAs told us they wanted and built a platform that allows them to seamlessly assess their clients’ needs and manage their portfolios in a cost-effective way. By adding a SIPP to our platform we’ve given advisors another powerful tool that will enable them to provide more people with high quality retirement advice, backed by the power of technology.’’
