Commonwealth Bank of Australia has appointed Lelia Ho as head of Private Banking, Hong Kong. In her new role, an internal promotion, she will be reporting to Khing Go, head of Private Banking, Asia who is based in Singapore. Mr Go reports to Edward Tait, in Sydney, head of Private Banking at Commonwealth Bank. The bank currently has 20 private banking staff in Singapore and five in Hong Kong. Mr Go worked for Merrill Lynch International in Geneva and Amsterdam where he held various positions within the private client group. He also worked for Lehman Brothers and Prudential Bache International before setting up his own wealth management business which was acquired by Commonwealth Bank of Australia in 2005.
