Aussie Dealer Group Names Regional Manager For West, South Australia

Australian Financial Services Group, the financial planning firm, has bolstered its Western and South Australia operations with a new regional manager.
Ken Blayney joins from AMP Financial Planning where was business partnership manager. He brings over 25 years of financial services experience to his new role, reporting to Peter Daly, chief executive and managing director for AFS. He replaces Jim Ivester who is now state manager, securitor for BT Financial Group.
"2012 will be a milestone year for the AFS Group. The programs and initiatives that will be delivered during the course of the year will positively position our advisor's to capitalise on unprecedented business expansion opportunities," said Daly.
In December 2011, Australian Financial Services Group expanded its advisory network with the addition of Queensland-based Alps Network, led by a team of principals with a combined 45 years of financial planning and taxation experience. To-date, AFS has around $6 billion in funds under management.
