Augentius Compliance opens its doors for business in the UK

Augentius has become the first fund administrator to offer a compliance service.

Augentius, the fund administration firm that specialises in real-estate funds, has created a new compliance consultancy in response to popular demand. The service will offer new customers a free 'compliance health check.'

Augentius has already been helping its clients comply with the US Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act 2010 for some time and has recently been offering reporting software that helps fund managers to comply with the European Union's Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive.

The new company offers Financial Conduct Authority authorisation and approval services along with the usual regulatory training that forms the bedrock of all consultants' incomes.

Augentius was established in 2002. It now has offices all over the United States, Europe and Asia and acts for more than 130 fund management groups which themselves are based in more than 35 countries around the world.

The consultancy is providing the following services.

  • Fund establishment, with investor and investment management reporting.
  • Dodd Frank Act qualified custodian role / services.
  • AIFMD authorised depository role / services.
  • FATCA reporting.
  • Web-based data-room and web reporting platform.
  • Capital calls, distributions, waterfall modelling and processing.
  • International tax reporting.
  • Directorship, corporate governance and AML/KYC services.
  • Collection of data from portfolio companies and reporting thereon.
  • Reporting to 'local regulators.'
  • Special purpose vehicle (SPV) administration.
  • Stock exchange sponsoring broker services.
