Atlanta's SunTrust Makes Top Wealth Management Appointments

SunTrust Banks Inc, based in Atlanta, has promoted Willem-Jan Hattink to executive vice president and head of private wealth management and institutional investment solutions, according to American Banker.

In these roles, Mr Hattink will run the firm’s private wealth management operation, including international wealth management, the sports and entertainment banking group, personal asset management and SunTrust Investment Services.

He takes over from E Jenner Wood, who held the post on an interim basis. Mr Hattink has worked at SunTrust for more than 26 years, most recently as business executive for private wealth management's central and Middle Atlantic banking groups.

SunTrust also said Thursday it promoted Jarrette White to executive vice president and private wealth management line of business executive for SunTrust's central group, taking over from Mr Hattink.
