Asset Rise At UK's Jupiter Fund Management

UK-based Jupiter Fund Management boosted its assets under management from £22.8 billion ($36.5 billion) to £24.2 billion in the three months to 31 March.

The asset manager said that despite weak trading from the final quarter of 2011 into January, it picked up subsequently and the firm saw net mutual fund inflows of £55 million in the opening quarter of the year.

In other recent highlights at the firm, Maarten Slendebroek was appointed as an executive board member in charge of distribution and strategy at the end of March.
