Prudential Asia's asset management business has boosted its client service capabilities as part of its Europe growth drive.
Eastspring Investments, the $134 billion Asian investment management arm of Prudential, has appointed Stephanie Wenzel as client services manager in London.
Previously at Pimco, Wenzel was responsible for investor services and SICAV platform operations. Before this, she was part of BlueCrest Capital Management’s investor services team. In the newly-created role, Wenzel will be based in London and will help drive the growth of Eastspring's European business while improving its client service capabilities.
“Her mix of client and investor experience and knowledge of European fund platforms will be invaluable as we continue to grow our European business,” said Gordon Hogarth, the firm's head of distribution for Europe and Middle East.
Eastspring employs over 250 investment professionals in 10 major Asian markets and has offices in the US, Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
