Asian Alternatives Investment House Poaches Group From Deutsche

Pacific Alliance Group, the Asian investment firm, recently announced that it has brought in four ex-senior executives at Deutsche Bank to add to its distressed asset investment team.

The four people are ex-head of Asia distribution in distressed products Kanak Kapur; head of origination, structuring and special situations in distressed products Anshumann Woodhull; and Stuart Blieschke and Anil Gorthy, both from the distressed asset management unit in Hong Kong.

The move comes just shortly after PAG named a new head for its Japan office, Anthony Miller, as part of its bid to tap into the country's distressed assets sector.

"Opportunities in credit, distressed debt and other stressed and distressed assets across Asia are profound," PAG managing partner Chris Gradel said.
