Artemis Investment Management has appointed Alan Gadd as head of product and distribution development.

Gadd, with more than 30 years’ investment and distribution experience covering channels, products and operational services, has served at Henderson Global Investors, HSBC Asset Management, Aviva Investors and Allfunds Bank in similar roles.

Reporting to Dick Turpin, Artemis’ head of asset gathering, in his new role, Gadd will be responsible for the firm’s existing distribution resources. He will be responsible for identifying and developing how Artemis should respond to the structural changes shaping the UK marketplace and how to extend what Artemis offers to clients. Gadd will also review opportunities overseas, the firm said.
