Ariel Wealth Advisors has launched in New York, appointing Jessica Lowrey to lead the branch as partner and senior managing director.

Lowrey, a tax lawyer, will advise clients on wealth management matters and co-chair the investment committee, the firm said. Her investment experience includes long/short equity funds, long-only managed accounts, venture capital, and commercial real estate.

Before joining Ariel she worked as a private investor and consultant to an ultra high net worth family for 18 years. Earlier in her career, she practiced corporate law in New York with Satterleee Stephens Burke & Burke. She also provides “angel investing" advice as a member of Golden Seeds, an angel investing network for women, and sits on the board of trustees of the University of Utah College of Law.

Ariel Wealth provides family office services and has offices in New York and Iselin, NJ.
