Arbuthnot Latham Loses Chief Investment Officer

The chief investment officer of UK wealth manager Arbuthnot Latham, David Kidd, has left the company, WealthBriefing has learned.

Mr Kidd left his post as CIO at the end of August. He joined Arbuthnot as CIO in 2005.

Arbuthnot Latham later confirmed Mr Kidd's departure when contacted by WealthBriefing. It was unable to say where Mr Kidd had gone or what his future plans were.

Brian Rout has been appointed head of investment management, pending a permanent appointment in due course.

Arbuthnot Latham is the private banking arm of the London-listed Arbuthnot Banking Group. In July, the firm announced that Paul Sheriff, finance director of Arbuthnot Group, had resigned to take up a position as chief financial officer with listed alternatives manager Record Group.
