Apollo Asset Management, a subsidiary of Apollo Insurance Company of Kenya, has selected Agilis Investment Management for its wealth management, mutual fund management, investor services, pension fund management and administration businesses.

Agilis IMS, developed by Dubai-headquartered Agile Financial Technologies, is a web-based multi-entity and multi-asset class investment management system, which covers treasury and prop-book management, wealth management, fund management, investor services management and pension fund management, the firm said in a statement.

Among the system’s features are user-configurable dashboards, analytics and risk management and back-office capabilities.

Agilis IMS will be primarily used by Apollo Asset Management, which in addition to its own asset management business, also manages the assets of group companies Apollo Life and APA Insurance.

Additionally, Apollo Insurance Company itself will use the system to manage its pension fund administration business, where Agilis IMS will automate the contributions process and various types of contribution segments, taxation norms and calculations. Gordon Court, another group company, will also be using Agilis IMS to manage its real estate investment portfolio.
