Apex Names Private Clients, Family Offices Business Head In Jersey

The move is part of a push to develop family office services by Apex Group, a group with 5,000 employees worldwide.

Financial services provider Apex Group has appointed Michelle Le Herissier as head of private clients and family office business in Jersey.

Le Herissier, who brings more than 25 years of experience working in Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and the US, has joined from JTC Group where she was most recently South Dakota managing director, Apex said in a statement.

Among other roles, Le Herissier worked for four years with Barclays as managing director of the Singapore and Hong Kong trust division and four years with Cititrust, where she established and ran a similar operation. Prior to this, she worked with private clients in Switzerland for both Citi and Credit Suisse.

Apex said that Le Herissier’s hire follows Lucia Perchard's appointment in late 2021 as head of the family office market to lead the delivery of Apex’s single-source solution to family office clients globally.

The firm, which was founded in Bermuda in 2003, will have 50 offices and 5,000 employees when the acquisitions are completed.

A week ago, Apex Group appointed John Davis as managing director, Singapore.

Last August, UK fund management services provider Sanne announced that it had agreed to a takeover offer from Apex Group of about £1.51 billion ($2.07 billion).
