ANZ Announces New GM For Superannuation

ANZ has named a new general manager for superannuation and investments to replace Ross Bowden, who is leaving the industry after 20 years.

Effective April 2011, Craig Brackenrig will assume his new position as super head, where he will be responsible for all of ANZ's superannuation, investment, and retirement functions. Brackenrig brings over 25 years of financial services experience to the role and most recently served as financial director for Asia-Pacific at Aviva. He reports directly to John Van Der Wielen, the wealth managing director.

"Craig's strong record in managing large-scale technology and business change will be a valuable asset for ANZ as we develop and implement next generation investment and platform solutions for our customers," Van Der Wielen said.
