Anglo-Irish Bank reported a 16 per cent rise in revenues within its wealth management business, which includes private banking and its trust business. Revenues came in at €44 million ($56.9 million) in the six month period (the company’s interim results) ending March 31, 2005. Anglo-Irish runs an offshore private banking business in Switzerland, the Isle of Man and Austria. It also runs an onshore private client asset management business for mostly high net worth individuals in Ireland. Overall results at the bank for the interim period showed a 35 per cent rise in pre-tax profits to €308.4 million.
