Amundi Makes Two Emerging Market Debt Hires

French asset manager – Amundi – has made two new hires in its emerging market debt department.

French asset manager Amundi has made two new hires in its emerging market debt department.

Esther Law is appointed investment manager responsible for local debt portfolios and reports to Sergei Strigo, head of emerging market debt management. Previously she was a director in emerging markets strategy for Societe Generale.

Abbas Ameli-Renani is appointed emerging markets strategist, calling into Philippe Ithurbide - head of research, analysis and strategy. Ameli-Renani joins from RBS Markets & International Banking where he was in charge of CEEMEA fixed income strategy.

The pair will join Amundi in its London office.
