Amundi Makes Senior Hire

Amundi, the global asset management business formed in 2010 by France's Societe Generale and Credit Agricole, has appointed Raphaël Sobotka as global head of multi-asset management solutions for institutional investors, based in Paris, Amundi said in a statement.

global head of multi-asset management solutions for institutional
investors, based in Paris.
He will work alongside Loic Becu, who was appointed at the end of
June as head of multi-asset solutions for retail and network
partners, Amundi said in a statement.
Sobotka joins from HSBC, where he was chief investment officer of
the multimanager EMEA division in London from 2007, with
responsibility for all aspects of portfolio management and
research in the region.
Before this, he was head of financial engineering at HSBC Asset
Management before setting up its multimanager division in
2000. His financial engineering unit was responsible for
asset allocation strategy to support multi-asset portfolio
management and delivering ALM services to institutions.
