Amundi Appoints New Chief At Czech Subsidiary

The European asset manager has appointed a familiar face to the helm of its Czech Republic business.
Amundi has appointed Franck du Plessix as chief executive of IKS KB, its subsidiary in Czech Republic.
Du Plessix, who joined Amundi in 2010, replaces Albert Reculeau, who will be retiring. Du Plessix previously served as Amundi's head of structured products sales, and has created partnerships with international distribution networks while at the group.
Prior to Amundi, he was head of sales for structured asset management at Societe Generale Asset Management's alternative investments arm, and before this, sales director at Societe Generale Private Banking in France.
Amundi, which is headquartered in France and has offices in over 30 countries, had more than €950 billion ($1.08 trillion) in assets under management as of the end of June, of which IKS KB had €5.4 billion.
