Amundi Appoints Head Of Third-Party Fund Selection

The European asset manager has hired a private banking executive for the role.
Paris-headquartered Amundi has hired Silvia Bocchiotti as director of retail advisory and head of third-party fund selection.
Based in Paris, Bocchiotti joins from LCL Banque Privée, where she was chief investment officer responsible for asset allocation in discretionary mandates and advisory management since 2007. Previously, she was senior portfolio manager of funds of funds at Credit Agricole Asset Management, which later became Amundi, and head of LCL advisory services for third party funds since 2005.
Amundi, which was jointly created in 2010 by Crédit Agricole and Société Générale, had assets of close to €1 trillion ($1.1 trillion) as of the end of 2015. Earlier this month, Amundi acquired a majority stake in Kleinwort Benson Investors, the BHF Kleinwort Benson subsidiary that was recently bought by Oddo & Cie.
