Amundi Agrees New Five-Year Pact With Societe Generale

Societe Generale has been involved with the asset management house since entering a venture with a fellow French lender 15 years ago.
Amundi, which at the
end of September this year had €2.317 trillion ($2.69 trillion)
of assets under management, yesterday inked a new five-year
partnership with fellow France-headquartered firm Societe Generale.
SocGen and fellow French bank Crédit Agricole formed Amundi in
2010.
The new partnership agreement, which will come into effect once
the contractual documentation has been finalised, will
be subject to obtaining any required regulatory approvals,
Amundi said in a statement yesterday.
Under distribution agreements initiated in 2010, Amundi is the
primary provider of savings and investment solutions for Societe
Generale’s retail banking and insurance networks. Societe
Generale Securities Services is meanwhile one of Amundi’s primary
providers for securities services.
Amundi has six international investment hubs and employs 5,600
people in 35 countries.
The group set its net income for the third quarter of 2025 was
€340 million, rising 0.8 per cent on a year ago, on an adjusted
basis.
