AMA appoints new president for Connecticut office

Florida multifamily office names Ex-Citigroup Private Bank New England head. Multifamily office Asset Management Advisors (AMA) has made Kenneth Russell Jr., formerly a regional director for Citigroup Private Bank, president of its Greenwich, Conn., office. He replaces Elizabeth Mathieu, who has relocated to AMA's New York office, where she'll concentrate on developing and implementing the Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.-based firm's national strategy.
Ralph Wyman remains chairman of AMA's Greenwich office.

Russell previously headed Citi's private-banking business in New England. He has also filled senior slots at JP Morgan Chase, Webster Financial, People's Bank and Irving Trust (now part of the Bank of New York).
At AMA, Russell will be responsible for maintaining the quality of service to existing families, as well as the expansion of the office.
AMA is an affiliate of SunTrust Banks. The multifamily office managed nearly $8 billion for ultra high-net-worth individuals and families as well as a few institutional clients. -FWR
