Alpha FMC, a global consultancy to the financial services industry, has appointed Mark Wightman (pictured) as senior partner in its Asset & Wealth Management (AWM) Consulting division.

In his new role, Wightman will strengthen Alpha’s global client relationships and support growth of its international AWM Consulting business, particularly in the UK, Middle East and Asia-Pacific. 

Wightman, who has more than 30 years’ experience spanning financial services, consulting, fintech and technology-enabled transformation, most recently served in senior leadership roles at State Street and EY. Earlier in his career, he held senior positions in financial technology, including at SunGard (FIS). Wightman is experienced in working with global asset and wealth management firms, in a career spanning regional and global leadership roles and advising clients across strategy, operating models, business, digital and AI transformation, and growth.
