Alliance Bernstein, the US investment firm that covers services including wealth management, said it has named Hayden Briscoe as the new director of its Australian fixed income unit.

Mr Briscoe will be replacing outgoing director James Alexander, starting 18 August. Prior to the appointment, he served as fund manager at Schroders Investment Management (Australia).
