Allfunds Names New French Head

Allfunds, a Madrid-headquartered B2B funds distribution platform, is advancing its WealthTech strategy by building a large global B2B platform. It has made a senior French hire to advance this.

Allfunds has appointed Véronique Uzan as head of France. Her remit will involve scaling its B2B platform which combines value-added solutions with technological innovation to help asset and wealth managers thrive in a complex investment landscape.

Uzan has a track record of large-scale operational and digital change which aligns with Allfunds' aim to innovate. Based in Paris, she will report to Gianluca Renzini, chief commercial officer for Allfunds.

With experience at Amundi Group, where she was chief operating and transformation officer of dealing, Uzan contributed to M&A integrations including Pioneer, Sabadell, and Lyxor. Her expertise in redesigning operating models and implementing cross-functional transformation initiatives has delivered value to organisations and their end clients, the firm said in a statement.

Uzan was also integral in setting up Alto Platform, commercialising the services that are branded Amundi Technology. Most recently, as deputy CEO of Montpensier Finance, Uzan was able to use her expertise in legal, regulatory, operational, and commercial frameworks to maximise client value at an entrepreneurial asset manager.

Bruno Piffeteau, the former country head of France, will be transitioning from his role to pursue new personal projects, the firm continued. Allfunds thanked him for his contributions over the years which played an important role in strengthening the business in France.

“Veronique’s appointment is a strategic step forward as we continue scaling our platform and expanding our WealthTech leadership. Her deep expertise in transformation, technology, solution mindset and client engagement align perfectly with our ambition to be the trusted digital partner for the industry,” Gianluca Renzini, chief commercial officer for Allfunds, said. “France is a key market for us, and Veronique’s leadership will be instrumental in driving growth and delivering more value to our clients.”

The firm, which has been continuing to acquire market traction in the UK and Europe, says there is plenty of upside potential in a field where technology is reshaping this business. The firm also recently appointed Pascal Duval as senior advisor for France and Benelux. See more commentary here and here.
