Albridge debuts broader reporting platform

New offering integrates clients' investments and insurance holdings. Spotting a gap in the market, Albridge Solutions has launched a new integrated investment-reporting platform to generate comprehensive relationship reports. These reports will combine a clients' insurance- and investment-product information to provide a more complete picture of their financial holdings and overall planning status.
Albridge's platform pulls data directly from "insurance carriers, third-party providers such as [the Depository Trust and Clearing Corporation], DST Systems and Blue Frog Solutions, among others," according to a company press release. This is done through interfaces with more than 60 insurance carriers. The report will include data on premiums, party information, benefits, riders and policy status.
The new reporting platform is a response to the continuing convergence of "the worlds of investment and insurance," says Jake Rohn, Albridge's head of corporate development. "Increasingly, investment advisors are assuming the role of wealth managers and serving a broader range of their clients' financial planning needs," he adds. "We believe this is one of the first technology solutions that can help them meet the challenges this presents by providing a more complete picture of a client's total net worth through an integrated investment and insurance report."
Lawrenceville, N.J.-based Albridge provides web-based portfolio-accounting and performance-reporting products to investment-management firms, insurance companies, banks, registered investment advisors, and independent, insurance and bank-based broker-dealers. -FWR
