Advisor Software upgrades its ASI Wealth Manager

New version intended to foster more effective advisor-client communication. Advisor Software, Inc., says it has upgraded its ASI Wealth Manager -- a platform that's meant to help advisors customize financial and investment plans for their well-to-do clients.

"With this upgrade, we continue to help advisors connect investors' personal goals with their investing decisions," says Advisor Software's president Neal Ringquist. "These enhancements to ASI Wealth Manager are designed to improve the advisor's ability to gather household balance-sheet information, and communicate more effectively with clients about their recommendations [because] a recommendation is only as good as an advisor's ability to explain it."

ASI Wealth Manager's new features include

Portfolio Diagnostics lets advisors compare a client's actual portfolio and ASI Wealth Manager's proposed portfolio with a target strategy Retirement and Expenses Goal lets advisors calculate current and retirement annual expenses as a total or broken down by expense category Balance Sheet Analysis with a Household Balance Sheet that tells advisors when a client's resources are insufficient to fund their liabilities and goals.

"We are constantly working to enhance our solutions so that advisors can build unique and dynamic investment portfolios for every client," says Ringquist. "We look forward to continuing our mission of bridging the gap between financial planning and investment management with innovative goal-based platforms."
