Adecco Names New Chief Financial Officer

The Adecco Group, a global workplace solutions business company listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange (ADEN), has made a senior hire from within its own ranks.

Zurich-headquartered Adecco Group has appointed Valentina Ficaio (pictured) as chief financial officer (CFO) and member of the executive committee, from 1 January 2026.

She will succeed Coram Williams who has decided to step down, after being with the firm since 2020. He will assume the role of CFO for a company in the automotive sector in Germany in the New Year, the firm said in a statement.

Ficaio joined the Adecco Group as CFO Iberia in 2019 and then became regional CFO for Southern and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa. She is now group senior vice president finance, leading financial planning, controllership and strategy. Prior to joining the Adecco Group, Ficaio served in CFO roles in the automotive industry and automotive financing and banking. An Italian national, she has a business and managerial economics degree from Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome.

"Valentina has deep knowledge of our business, people and customers as well as very strong financial and strategic acumen,” Denis Machuel, CEO of the Adecco Group, said. “She will play a key role in shaping the next phase of our journey, ensuring long term value creation for our stakeholders."
