Adams Hall Launches Texas Wealth Advisory Office

Adams Hall Asset Management, an independent wealth management firm, is to establish a “permanent local presence” in Dallas, TX with the addition of a wealth advisory office in the state.

Scott Mills – latterly of UBS Wealth Management – has been appointed as a senior wealth advisor to lead the expansion. The firm said Mills will also bring on a team of experienced professionals.

Prior to UBS, Mills held wealth management roles at the newly-renamed wealth and investment management division of Barclays, and Credit Suisse First Boston's private client group.

In February, Mariner Wealth Advisors expanded its operations with the acquisition of a majority interest in Adams Hall – a deal in which Adams Hall retained its name and said it would integrate its operations into Mariner over time.

Adams Hall’s investing and wealth management services include family office services, financial planning, asset allocation, fiduciary oversight services, cash flow analysis and tax-sensitive investing.

Mariner Wealth Advisors manages $13 billion in collective assets and is led by chief executive Martin Bicknell.
